Scenes fromĀ Berlin

The back chamber of a trendy coffee shop on the sunny side of a hearty Sunday flea market. Outside, vendors hawk everything from used bicycle parts to Dark Magic greeting cards. Inside, around a large table sit seven shades of black women, animatedly conversing in French.
Dressed in simple white t-shirts, mottled grey heather sweaters, plain denim jackets, they discuss matters of state. Transportation, finances, culture, foreign policy. At this table, black women rule and administer the world.
