Hey Celine, thanks for taking the time to write this article. I have a question for you: Why are 5% of your earnings still withheld, as an Australian resident? Australia is on the “Claim of Treaty Benefits (Part II)” list. Or is it that being on this list doesn’t mean exemption from taxation in the US, just that there’s a different treaty that allows you to pay less?
