Udaipur 5
Team up with Tyler from Seattle, and Steven from England to hike up one of the many many hills surrounding Udaipur. Hot, but the view was worth it. We make some detours around to the city garden, and are celebrities to the kids.

Gondolas go up the hill, but we decide to walk.

Udaipur from a distance.

Mules chow down at the top of the hill, inside the castle.
After a brief conversation with one of the managers of the guesthouse that I've been hanging out at, I decide to undo my previous plan of heading up to Dharmasala with Kunsang for the 29th. It was a bit hard to let go of this nicely packaged plan, but after sitting with the idea for a little bit, seemed like the right thing to do. I will still go up, but later, perhaps in April. In the meantime, suddenly my agenda is cleared. I have no reason to rush to leave Udaipur. Somehow I'm a bit fearful that this will just lead to me being sluggish and lethargic when where is so much to see. But, I'm realizing, that just because I'm not moving from here now, doesn't mean I won't another day, when the time is right.
